even country at times. Additionally, acoustic guitar plants the band
firmly across the folk, country, and pop-rock genres. The music is
groundbreaking and beautifully familiar; melodic pop yet challenging
and experimental.
With an underlying drum-and-bass rhythm section
that stays primarily on a traditional course, the exploration of
unusually syncopated, yet simple beats give listeners reason to “move
about”.
The lead vocals are powerful, emotional, and beautiful, with
a touch of southern crying and recited poetry. The thought-provoking
lyrics, often of a questioning or spiritual nature, leave the listener
