Ethereal
AND it Rocks!
Kick-ass rhythm and blues overtones, an organic vintage sound, lush pop
melodies, and an underlying acoustic soul! A great melting pot of
traditional and experimental ideas. Very sexy music and vocals!
“Heartcore”!
NAKED VIOLET is the dream child of accomplished singer/songwriter/ poet
Brigitte Miller, who has been performing and writing since late 1990.
When
her Ft. Lauderdale based band the Violet Cowgirls disbanded in 2002,
Brigitte landed in Texas to further her musical tapestry amongst the
Dallas coffee house scene, spreading her genuine vision “to create
a musical universe”.
Then
in early 2004, missing the collective talents of a band experience,
Brigitte began searching for fellow estranged spirits. Synchronistic
meetings finally lead to stellar jam sessions with guitarist Sonny
Wayne Hopper, bassist Anna Gosling, and drummer Tom Thornton. In
these magical moments it became crystal clear that this was the
incarnation of the musical idea Brigitte had longed for! Since its inspired inception, NAKED VIOLET has been pursuing
a rigorous playing and recording schedule, creating a musical universe
wherever they go for a variety of people! |

| Anna Gosling, hailing from Texas, began her musical passions on the piano, later converting to the Fender P-bass. She credits her former jam/cover band influences of free-form jazz, R&B, and vintage rock for her ability to uniquely contribute to the NAKED VIOLET rythm mojo.
